Curse of the Cuckoo

Ey up you mouth-watering bunch of salacious neanderthal savages!

Long time no speaks! It’s been a while I know and apologies for that. Holding down a full-time job, continued renovations at home and all the usual domestic shenanigans (including an army of self-centred cats, a mercenary assemblage of freeloading rabble!) are not conducive for long-term writing projects. However, after two years in the making, the third and final chapter in the Lonely Ballerina trilogy is finally upon us. Curse of the Cuckoo is now awaiting editing and scheduled for loading onto the Amazon platform by late August. Recovering at home from a dodgy knee operation (the knee was dodgy not the operation!) and not being renowned for my patience, it’s particularly frustrating having to put the project on hold until such time as the various agencies can be brought together to finalise the project, but we’re almost there.

The story (I’m a storyteller, not a writer or novelist!) is once again set in and around East Leeds and centres on Briggate in the city centre. Our Zoe is up against it as usual, and the big question is whether her bolshie and spiky demeanour will be enough to see her through another paranormal pickle and whether she’ll come out the other end unscathed! There is also a link to Georgian Leeds of which there are many hidden remnants of architecture from this period still surviving in the city centre.

The book cover and trailer video (available on this site now) will be released on social media in late July/early August.

Thank you for your continued support. Keep going and keep smiling.
